PressTime: What's in store for you and your record lable this year?

Mista A.O says: Man we got a bunch of things poppin off this year, we just dropped the 80's babiez mixtape which features some hot tracks, then one of the record lables top artist J-Dubb will be released out of Federal prison next month.
after a long 2 years, so were getting ready to work on his project as soon as Dubb gets home. Also lable mate and my close friend D.Natural has been released from state prison a few months back hes in the studio working on his project now. Im in the studio cooking up some mixtapes every last friday of each month im going to be dropping a mixtape. its real big look out for those.


PressTime: Where did you come up with the name Mista A.O?

Mista A.O says: Its a long story but i'll cut it short and keep it all business. A.O stands for "A1" A-O.N.E which means top of the line A1, but i shorten it to A.O, and Mista just grow with me. ima young wise man. that makes me a Mista.


PressTime: Who are you working with, and what made you start doing rap music?

Mista A.O says: Right now im working with artist on my record lable Cut Throwt Records and artst like Mack 10, J-Dubb, Baby Bash and others. I just finished my verse for Hot N Club which features Too Short and Las Vegas's upcoming r&b sensation Derrick Hooper. look out for that street single.
What made me start doing rap music, well i started rapping at 12 as a hobbie, if they dont think so just look at my jr. high school records. i was suspended numerous times for rapping and shooting dice at school, that was at Martin Luther King Jr. jr high school. Sacramento, Ca.
At the age of 15 i was becoming a farther so i dident have a bunch of time for myself, so kind of put that to the side for a while. I worked at several job's as shift leader and manager positions at the age of 16/17, "that is where i got most of my management skills from" i also had to quit school and try home study, that ended up being difficult with full-time work and being a full-time Dad.
